Why France always

When the driver of the truck was attacked citizens walked through the square on Bastille Day in Nice seaside town on Thursday night, killed at least 84 people and injured hundreds.

Murder on the editorial board of the satirical magazine "Charlie Hebdo" in Paris last November, and assault on a police officer in June, are just some of the numerous attacks taking place in recent years in France, reports Telegraph.

But among the European countries, France has suffered some of the worst attacks jihadists, highlighting the major problem of this country with increasing militarism.

The roots of the problem are complex: France has a history of violence in conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as France's Muslim community, with long experience of discrimination and feelings of exclusion from French society.

French prisons have become places for extremists recruitment. French right but also affected, raising tensions in the rhetoric that is often referred to as anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim. But adding machine recruitment self-proclaimed state known as the Islamic State.

According to "Soufan Group" based in New York that deals with security issues, citing details of the French authorities, since May last year, nearly 1,800 people have abandoned France to join ISIS groups other militants in Iraq and Syria.

470 also have fled from France to continue operations in Belgium, which is considered the country with the largest number of recruits in Europe. These are shocking figures, particularly when viewed in context. From 600 to 1,000 fighters have come from Egypt, the largest country in the Arab world, reports Telegraph.

Jihadist groups have found fertile ground in France and Belgium, thanks to feelings of marginalization among immigrant communities, especially those from North Africa.

During attacks of November last year in Paris, which killed 130 people, was supported ISIS foreign fighters, French and Belgian operatives who were trained jihadists in Syria.

In France, strikes profiles murderers are somewhere between the two extremes. Larus Abala (25), who had killed a policeman in June, has been in prison on charges of recruiting terrorists, but just before he was killed was listed among the ISIS. However, there is no evidence that he was directly infiltrated the attack by ISIS.

French root of the problem with jihadists dates from the former empire in the Middle East and North Africa at the time of the French colonization of Algeria, Tunisia, Syria and Libya.

During the 20th century, a large number of people from the colonies had come to France to live and work, where many of them are located in slums that surround Paris and other cities.
