The Real Madrid striker is a true champion, not only in the field but also off it, as is often not spared making charitable gifts, to help families in need.
According to US magazine Athletes Gone Good, which has a ranking of athletes who do charity through donations in money and on top of this list it is precisely the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal was able to help a 10-year-old child, who needed brain surgery, where the surgery cost 83 thousand dollars and every other expense was covered by 31-year-old. Also striker has donated 165 thousand dollars for the establishment of a foundation based in Portugal, for the fight against cancer.
Based on this list, ranked fifth in Barcelona striker Neymar, while 5 times winner of the 'Golden Ball', Leo Messi misses the top 10 athletes who donate more to charity.
