It is already dramatic situation on the Serbian border, where thousands are starving for food, horrible conditions and high temperatures.

A massive security operation, involving 10,000 police and soldiers, is in the process along Hungary's southern border with Serbia to prevent all immigrants who try to enter from Serbia to Hungary.

The Armed Forces are determined to reinforce the 175 km border, which is already protected by a barrier of barbed wire set up last year, precisely at the time of peak flow of illegal immigrants who use the Balkan Road to travel to Western and northern Europe.

The new rules entered into force on July 5, but up to this date about 130 people on average every day last fence.

The new law allows authorities to turn back anyone caught trying to enter Hungary, or rather caught 8 kilometer inside the fence, but in practice authorities As reported by foreign media are back in Serbia and those immigrants who are caught in Hungary, in Budapest and other cities.
Returns are usually at night through gates with barbed wire fence.

Hungarian actions have caused a difficult situation in Serbia, where around one thousand people stand under high temperature waiting to cross the border with Hungary legally through two transit points Horgos and Kelebia.

Conditions in the camp are terrible Horgos. Most of the migrants are Afghans, Syrians and Iraqis and are housed in tents Kelebias.

There are two fountains in the camps, where in the morning are long lines. There are 12 toilets for about 10 thousand people, while on the other, more aggressive form when a jeep from the Red Cross of Serbia amounts to furzinur bread immigrants.
So their conditions are miserable from the cold have passed on hot, hungry again and unconditionally hygiene and sanitation.

According to UNHCR, the situation is problematic, where the majority of immigrants fed tea, baked potatoes or roasted corn. Last week a 10-year-old Afghan boy drowned while bathing in a nearby reservoir.

UNHCR has been mediating with Serbian and Hungarian authorities for the place where the child can be buried. The Hungarian government will hold a referendum on October 2nd for refugee redistribution of quotas proposed by the European Commission.
