Official: Roma sells a striker to Real Betis


Roma have officially sold to Real Betis Antonio Sanabria 7.5 million, but will receive half of any future transfer fee and have an option to repurchase.

Single agreement for a new striker was announced simultaneously by two clubs, Roma and Real Betis.

"AS Roma can confirm that an agreement has been reached with the Spanish club Real Betis for the transfer of Toni Sanabria for a fee of 7.5 million," the club said in a statement Giallorossi.

"AS Roma will receive 50% of any future transfer fee of Sanabria, or full name Arnaldo Sanabria Antonio Ayala, when sold by Betis.

"The agreement also includes a clause where AS Roma can re-buy Sanabrian at any time in the next three seasons. Repurchase fee is set at 11 million euros for the first two seasons and 14.5 million for the third season, "the Italian club closes statement.

Paraguay, 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Sporting Gijon, scoring 11 goals in 29 games in La Liga.
