Kosovar Android users, ATTENTION: A virus can steal your money and information from Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail, etc.!


A very damaging virus can get your personal information from your mobile phone without being noticed at all by you as a user of mobile phones.

Acecard Trojan is targeting information from many applications that we all in our phones based on Android operating system.

Currently, this type of virus is described as one of the most dangerous Trojans for the banking sector. At least that describes the anti-virus company Kaspersky Lab.

Login'it Acecard uses for most web applications and social networking banks in Android, then hide this site with its commands that look identical to those that we see in the login pages.


"The virus has a cover from the place where you enter your user name and password," said Jeremy Montieth, Director of IT at National Bank of Amarillo National Bank.

"In principle, the virus captures this information and uses it to see everything that you see in a particular application."

The virus can bypass security measures in Google Play Store and has affected about 50 financial and banking applications.

Kaspersky has reported some of the applications that can be used to Acecard attack:

WhatsApp, Viber, Instagram, Skype

Facebook, Twitter

Gmail

Mobile app PayPal

Google Play dhe Google Music

Once Acecard to teach your user name and password, the same can view your bank statements and uses this information to look your very personal data.

Although there is no guaranteed way to block attacks from this virus, there are some steps that users of Android can use to protect their phones:

Install a firewall or anti-virus on your phone

Phone constantly update applications and operating system

Set a passcode on your phone

Monitor your bank statements to check any suspicious activity

Contact your bank if your bank statements are erratic
