Joaquin Caparros has expressed readiness to take charge of the Spanish national team.
The disappointment at Euro 2016, where Spain were eliminated in the 1/8 finals since, has prompted coach Vicente del Bosque to give resignation.
Since that time the Spanish Football Federation has been looking for a replacement thereof. The most controversial name to get this post is that of Joaquin Caparros, who has previously run the team like Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao.
60-year-old said he is ready to become the coach of La Rojas. "I think I'm up to the job. I nearly 500 matches in Primera Division and proudly say that I have worked in all categories of Spanish football, "said Caparros.
